In 2022, New Conservatory Theatre Center turned 40, and for the special occasion the Founding Artistic Director, Ed Decker, wanted to create something special: a cabaret revue that highlighted the musicals NCTC had done over the past 40 years. Joe Wicht and Dennis Lickteig worked with Ed to create Encore Cabaret, to blend together the history and mission of NCTC into a very enjoyable production filled with incredibly talented and wonderful to work with people (Jacqueline De Muro, McKay Elwood, Catalina Kumiski, and Anthony Rollins-Mullens). This marked my 15th show with NCTC, and it was very gratifying to revive some of the songs I had previously brought to their stages.
