I was thrilled when 42nd Street Moon approached me about reviving the production of Merrily that we had done almost a decade earlier. With an original production run scheduled for April of 2020, though, we had to wait three years before we actually were able to align the stars to put it up. With DC Scarpelli and I reprising our roles as Charlie and Frank, we added in Melissa WolfKlain (with whom I had done Millie a decade earlier) as Mary to create our trio of Old Friends, and the three of us loved telling the story together each night. I also played the piano live on stage again, something I wished I had the opportunity to do more.
