Doing revues can a great way to learn a lot of material from a composer’s catalog, and when it’s Sondheim that’s always a good thing. There are a few different Sondheim revues out there, and this one had a lot of Merrily and Follies in it before those shows came back into popularity, which really helped me when I did Merrily years later.
