This was my first Lamplighters show, and my first opportunity to play an overly-jealous, military braggart, that was terribly fun to perform. It actually wasn’t a show that I had originally auditioned for, but it was a good lesson to always be ready for whatever opportunity might come your way, as it opened quite a few doors for years to come for me. It was also interesting being single cast in a show where most of the other leads were double cast, so you could see different variations in performances from night to night.
